Self-Description: i'm strong willed, driven, impatient, stubborn, and very
motivated. i am always surprised by the lack of confidence most
humans have in their own abilities. i am drawn to motivated
individuals with an eye on the future. i especially admire
females that have overcome male-dominated fields.
i abhor professional sports and find them to be an enormous
waste of time. i despise females whose only claim to fame is
just a pretty face. it gives us all a bad name.
i'm an environmental planner at a transportation agency in the
bay area of california. i am a transportation and land use
geek. i am very liberal, but not as involved in politics as i
would like to be. i am a vegan and i love animals. i have
volunteered for a local wildlife shelter that rehabilitates
wildlife. it opened my eyes even more to the painful realities
of the human impact upon our local wildlife. i love reading,
but mostly non-fiction. i love cities. i have had a life long
interest in studying the development of human civilization from
the beginning of human existence to the present most
technologically adnvanced world-class cities. but what i find
most fascinating about cities, ancient or modern, are their
transportation systems.
Interests: i am a private pilot and i love to fly. my most
valued vacation time is reserved for my yearly adventure to
burning man in the black rock desert of nevada. i love to
garden, mostly because it's a valid excuse to play in the mud.
