Self-Description: Well, here goes. I have a job that requires me to break things in order to fix them. You figure it out. I used to live in Northern Vermont which was beautiful, but a little isolated (just five miles from Canada...brrr). Being in DC, I miss country life, but I have found that Capitol Hill is like a quaint little country town with rats. No, really, it is great. There is something to be said for living in a city as though you were still in a small town.
Oh yea, my brother got married last year and his wife dyed her hair red for the occasion. You would all be proud - it looked natural and blended in with the big red and green tatoo on her back. Finally, I am not the only redhead in the family...
Interests: 1. I used to go to a lot of movies, but the last film
I saw that was of any quality was Memento - everything else,...uhg. And
don't get me started on Lord of the Rings - pure fluff, folks. Sure, it
was beautiful and the casting was good, but please, film of the year
nominee? Chuh...
2. Since I am right down the street from one of the world's largest
music collections (perhaps the largest), I have been listening to an
awful lot. It seems to be a bluegrass kind of year, but I still find
several elements of pop to be good from time to time. John Zorn
too,...crazy man I tell ya...
Alright, that was wordy, so I will just list the last three:
3. Steve Bunnell (yea, if you know what I am talking about here you know
why I am too embarassed to go into detail...)
4. Board Games - I have been reading about ancient board and dice games
and am thinking about collecting some...
5. Politics: See, I used to have an ant farm but I am too old for that
now...
