Self-Description: I suppose I'm a walking contradiction in terms. I'm the
prototypical shy exhibitionist - you'd be just as likely to find me
curled up in a corner of the library with my nose stuck in a good book
as you would performing a belly dance solo at a local restaurant or
community event. I'd just as soon spend my time gadding around in mesh
bodysuits and a black leather collar as I would in a serious debate
about whether Jung was a genius or a fool. I love martial arts training
but dislike confrontation. I believe in creating a nurturing environment
for children but disdain all the "touchyfeely" junk that pervades the
entire genre of self help books on the market. I love a good debate but
hate arguing. I spend my time with my family, at the library, dancing
either flamenco, modern, or belly dance, training in the dojo, at my
computer writing, or reading.
