Self-Description: I'm a Texan by birth and by culture, but a San Franciscan by vocation and
by choice. I'm also a strawberry blond by birth, but full-on redhead for over
ten years bypersonality and by choice. More than anything else I love my
husband, music of all kinds but especially honky tonk, and writing long-winded
screeds on just about any topic that pops into mind. I talk a mile a minute
most times, and although I can become cynical and morose when the situation
warrants I'm generally good-natured. Unless you piss me off. I'm almost as
liberal as they come, in the old school progressive vein, but I'm not what you
would call radical. I don't know what it is about folks who are redheaded by
nature or by choice, but I seem to find them easier to relate to and more fun
than most other people. Same with smokers (though I quit), drinkers, musicians
and Texans. I love em all, and they usually love me back.
Interests: I love to write write write, though I also procrastinate on writing.
Procrastination doesn't count as an interest, I guess. I also love to read
fiction and nonfiction. I love trashy TV shows on true crime and celebrity
gossip. I sing honky tonk and jazz standards, and I worship both Loretta Lynn
and Ella Fitzgerald.
