Self-Description: I am an oddity of a red-head - I am of full Sicilian descent - both
sides. Both my parents have brown hair and eyes - neither of them expected to
have a red-haired child, much less two. We had to trace back several
generations before we found other family members with red hair. I love having
red hair and green eyes (and the light skin and freckels that go with), and
have the typical red hair personality - gregarious, fun loving, hot tempered
etc.
I was born on Long Island and was brought up catholic. I currently work for
Cornell University in Ithaca NY where I have lived for 15 years. I do look
forward to moving somewhere warmer at some point. I am in a long term
realtionship with a wonderful guy, and we live with our dogs and cats in a 1950
ranch house that we are renovating. Takes up all our time.
Children: Only the four-legged kind.
Interests: Gardening, birding, music, horses, anything crafty, environmental
causes. Working on our house.
More: I come from a family of five siblings, only two of us have red hair. My
sister has auburn hair, brown eyes, and she tans! A very uncommon combination.
