Self-Description: I'm a final-year Journalism university student in my early twenties, and I'm from the
'sunny' South Coast of England. I was teased for having red hair throughout my youth and teens and
decided to dye it when I started university to make a fresh start so that I wasn't identified
solely as 'that red-headed girl' - big mistake! It wasn't until I dyed my hair that everyone I
knew proclaimed how beautiful my natural hair colour was and that I should let the dye grow out!
So, I did, and am now in a happy relationship with my boyfriend of three-years who was first
attracted to me for my red mane!
Interests: I'm a big music junkie. My favourite bands are The Pixies, Joy Division and Jimi
Hendrix.
More: I'm currently writing an article for an assignment on 'redism' and whether it's the last
'socially-acceptable' form of prejudice. I'd be really interested to hear from any redheads who'd
like to share their experiences with me for the article.
