Self-Description: Talk about attitude! I frequently have an opinion on whatever's
being talked about, and have no qualms about stating my thoughts. I
love an intelligent conversation and can even accept constructive
criticism, but I have no tolerance for flamers, stupid people, or people
who are too lazy to back up a statement with facts. I'll talk about
almost anything, and I also won't listen to people proselytize. I have
a keen sense of humor, and I adore British comedy shows. If you can't
understand the historical jokes or the cultural jibes in anything from
BlackAdder to Father Ted, don't bother. It would take too long to
explain without a history lecture. All said and done, however, I have a
quite varied list of interests, not the least of which are: history
(especially Irish), mythology, museums, swords, martial arts movies,
gardening, cooking, target shooting, arts & crafts, my cat, watching tv,
designing web pages, sewing viking age costumes, Highlander, Buffy, Lone
Gunmen, Monty Python, sci-fi, singing, Irish folk music, and even more!
But you have to talk to me to find out. One of my favorite games is to
take a class of objects, like fish species or 60's bands or whatever,
and see who can name more in the the category. I also love poetry and
word games. I'm slowly learning to speak Irish Gaelic, and already have
several years of French. Come, talk to me! More friends are always a
good thing to have!
