Self-Description: Chubby bubby with red headed attitude...Redheaded father and redheaded grandson...me and dad had lots of
freckles...grandson does not, but has beautiful green eyes...
Sadly, I also have "redheaded skin"...complete with skin cancers...it is a
trade off. Having red hair has always been a plus for me (well mostly...men and
babies love red hair...but teachers can target chatty redheaded kids, and my
dad (he used to tell me) got into fights quite often because of his bright red
curly hair.
Also found out that red hair shafts are not round like other colors, but
oval...checked mine under a microscope...that's how you can tell "real
redheads". Aging redheads should be careful of dying their hair that bright
red color...better to go towards blond...even if your grandchildren like the
bright red color better...!
Children: 3 children, 2 grandchildren, 1 redheaded
Interests: Gardening, birding, talking up other redheads...cooking (as soon as
my new kitchen is done...), reading, avoiding the sun while still swimming in
the pool. My grandchildren. I write poetry and some other interesting stuff.

such beautiful red hair!"
When I was a teenager, all the girls were making blond bangs with peroxide...do
you know what happens to red hair if you try to go blond with peroxide??? It
ain't pretty...and my dad (who I guess I took after) was really upset with
me...I guess he felt rejected. But now, that I am going grey, it is easier to
get a little blonder, so I went from auburn to strawberry. Not too bad.
