Self-Description: If I were a plant I would be a Bird of Paradise... you know those
flowers that look almost too industrial to be flowers, yet when you get close they're
completely interesting and exotic. I'm not terribly exotic, but I'm interesting. I
have a dry sense of humor that I've recently learned does not necessarily entertain other
people but it throws me into complete fits of laughter. I'm a physical person, I love
contact sports and wrestle with my friends. I lose a lot, but I put up a damn good fight,
let me assure you. Although that same physical side allows me to be very cuddly with
my current significant other. I feel like I'm a person that can survive a lot, but
somehow I escape being jaded. I am lucky enough to feel like a little kid most of the
time... everything is sooo... COOL.
Interests: I love physical stuff, although my brain is so
lazy. I play Rugby, although I haven't played in a year or so. I'm
recently discovering the joy of working out. I feel like a new
person everytime I walk out of the gym. I absolutely LOVE to swim.
I design costumes. I've recently become incredibly involved in the
Burningman Community and I get to make all of the folks in my camp
weird-wacky-let-you-imagination-run-away-with-you sort of costumes.
I don't think cartoons were ever made for kids. I love them, they
crack me up. My recent favorites are Samurai Jack, Invader Zim,
Dexter's Lab, and Johnny Bravo.
Designing web pages is a passion of mine. In what other field do
you get to think in a fusion of creative and analytical. Sometimes
they seem to cross over for me... I'm never sure if coding is
supposed to feel like I'm painting... but it does.
On more, eh... hmmm... I love working on my apartment. My home
really is my castle... the cooler my apartment is the more fun I
have when I'm home. I love that first impression when someone walks
in for the first time and looks around thinking "damn, this is
funky, yet cool..."
More Info: I just recently got my first post-college job and
I'm starting up my own web design business....at the same time. It's
been an interesting couple months. I think my favorite thing about
this whole job notion is that I HAVE MONEY. I can't buy groceries
whenever I want! WOOHOO!
As for my pic, I actually stuck my head on a scanner. I thought it
was hilarious. Still do, that pic is about 3 years old.
