Self-Description: More often than not, a happy, easy-going, easy-to-please person. I think life is wonderful, but things get me down occasionally....not often, though. I work full-time as a histology lab technician at a huge veterinary hospital but *love* spending as much time as I possibly can with my daughter.....and, when she's sleeping or playing or just decides that she can leave me alone for 5 minutes, I work on my website ;-) I've been married for 5 years to a Philly cop which makes for some interesting dinner-time stories. I love being a redhead. There is such a uniqueness about being a redhead - it creates a real sense of individuality.
Children: Brittany Rose is now more than 3 and a half years old!! She's in a wonderful school and about to start Pre-K testing for the next school year. Right now, she's got me a little stressed because she seems to be getting into Barbie....but since she still likes Bob the Builder, I'm just considering it to be a healthy balance ;-)
Interests: Journalling (paper and online), reading, knitting, making preservesm, the Sims on the computer, various PS2/Xbox/GameCube games and whatever elses I happen to be obsessing about on any given day..
More: TV: "The Shield", "Crossing Jordan", "Dead Like Me" and pretty much any crime drama or documentary series....except L&O - I'm getting pretty tired of them :-\
Music: Queen, as always...Def Leppard...and a sudden re-kindled love of The Beatles :-)
Books: Lately, I've been re-reading alot of old favorites in the "Classic Literature" section of your local bookstore, but I mostly enjoy complex-fictional-serial-killer types ;-)
Geek: I spend most of my at-home-free-time geeking - if not adding to my own site then I'm reading other blogs and journals.
