Self-Description: I'm a pretty laid-back person when it comes to life. I
don't feel the need to get all worked up over inconsequential
matters, because life's too short! Seriously, a lot of things
don't bother me, not even bad drivers or bad food.
I rely on my intuition a lot, or at least try to, so if I just
start dumping my life's story in your lap I must really like you.
;)
I tend to wax kid-like when I'm doing something I really enjoy,
usually when I'm in a big city for the first time or seeing
something really cool when I'm hiking. One may find this either
"cute" or "annoying", depending on how one views people who go
from 0 to insanely happy in under 2.5 seconds. :)
Other than that I'm your typical Leo/Fire Snake, full of fire,
with a penchant for laughing, making wise- cracks and being a
prankster. Did I mention I adore Old Man Coyote...? ;)
Interests: Reading faerie tales and studying world mythologies,
drawing & doodling, reading, collecting music of various genres,
playing with animals, hiking, swimming, fishing, camping,
smelling roses, beachcombing, exploring cities & ghost towns,
trying new foods, photography, wandering through antique stores
and musuems, gardening, sewing, cooking, old cemeteries, and a
ton of other things too. :)
More Info: I'm currently wanting to take bellydance and scuba lessons
for a variety of reasons, the main ones being because they're
enjoyable and sound like a lot of fun to do. They both have
long-term applications to life, which I find very healthy. I love
hyenas and vultures. They're horribly maligned creatures with
good lessons to teach, and, well, they're just so dang cool. :)
I'm an animal lover too and derive a lot of pleasure from them,
whether it be listening to the mourning doves and mockingbirds in
the morning to cawing with the ravens. And for all these girly
things... I like muscle cars, guns and wrasslin' with people.
I'd love to have a Hemi Cuda and a SigSaur .45 (I'm working up to
a Desert Eagle .50 - which I found comfortable to hold in my
small hands!). Someday... :) I'm ex-Army as well, and have been
to Ft. Meade, MD, Kuwait and Ft. McPherson, GA, as a 31S
(satellite commo). Currently I'm a civilian under contract to
the gov't. working at Onizuka Air Station, CA on the heavy earth
terminals there (these antennas have 60 foot dishes). Basically
I just sit around and wait for the equipment to break. Nothing
fancy. :)
