Self-Description: I'm an overly motivated college student at the University of Tennessee. I'm double majoring in Political Science and Russian, and hope to go on to grad school in international relations. I'm a liberal, and Hillary Clinton is my hero. My mother's side of the family is Russian, and so I go by Anya. That's where a lot of my interest in Russia comes from, you know, trying to figure out where I fit in. I've finally learned to be patient, and I try to listen to as many sides of a story as possible before making up my mind. Number one on my list of important qualities: forgiveness. I don't think there's anything I couldn't forgive, if God can forgive me for all I've done wrong. I've been writing poetry since I was 15, and it's the most amazing escape from pain.... I highly recommend it.

Children: Not til I'm 28.

Interests: I'm a fumbler, one of the devout followers of the Goddess Sarah McLachlan. Music takes up quite a bit of my time, and I only listen to my girls. Sarah, Tori Amos, Sheryl Crow, Tara MacLean, Jewel, Dido, Nina Gordon... You get the picture. I was so upset when Lilith Fair ended. I love to read: Grisham and Crichton are my favorites. My favorite favorite book, though, is The Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath.

More Info: My favorite color is blue. Somedays, I only wear blue. It's kinda funny how much of my wardrobe is blue. I can't stand to go without mascara. And I brush my teeth too much. It's strange how slow life seems to go by when you hit college... like everything is ahead of you and you're just stuck here, in the present, planning this future that might never come.....
